After having played for 20 minutes, Panos Prekkas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A.O A.E.K SYROY's supporters crossed their fingers, but Panos Prekkas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Dhardhiza's Stergios Ouzounis got a free kick in the 22nd minute. If Theocharis Theodorakelis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, A.O A.E.K SYROY's Iraklis Ntalakos got a free kick in the 26th minute. Grigoris Partalis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Grigoris Partalis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kostas Venetidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Theocharis Theodorakelis in the 36th minute of the match. If Alexis Matsaggos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of A.O A.E.K SYROY booed when Dhardhiza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Theofilos Katsanikas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Dhardhiza were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Grigoris Partalis made the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the match, A.O A.E.K SYROY's goalkeeper Kostas Venetidis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Theocharis Theodorakelis. A collision led to Dhardhiza getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Viktoras Papadimas hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, A.O A.E.K SYROY's Tilemachos Karagiannis got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 66th minute, Nontas Kleftodimos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Theocharis Theodorakelis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 73 minutes into the match, A.O A.E.K SYROY's goal looked a bit too open when Grigoris Partalis came free, but Kostas Venetidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Grigoris Partalis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The long shot by Stergios Ouzounis in the 82nd minute really tested Kostas Venetidis's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Theocharis Theodorakelis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Kostas Venetidis made a huge save. In the 88th minute, Demis Theofilidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th minute, Theocharis Theodorakelis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Panos Prekkas in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Savas Alexoulis saved Dhardhiza from getting behind. Dhardhiza's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
