Vassilis Terzis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kallithea FC's Paschalis Nikolaidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alkaios Vakros in the 12th minute of play. Giorgos Maltezakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute, Aggelos Tsiolis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paschalis Nikolaidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vassilis Terzis, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After a rather tough play, Kallithea FC's Aggelos Tsiolis got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 35th minute Alkaios Vakros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paschalis Nikolaidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vassilis Terzis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paschalis Nikolaidis having to interfere. Aggelos Tsiolis kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Pavlos Asimakoglou shot a long shot in the 41st minute and a light blocked Paschalis Nikolaidis hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 2-1. If Alkaios Vakros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pantelis Patziaras to make the kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Giorgos Maltezakis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but New old boys's Thodoris Vaxevanakis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Kallithea FC's zone, Alkaios Vakros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paschalis Nikolaidis came out of the goal and Alkaios Vakros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paschalis Nikolaidis didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 56th minute, which inside left pole to 2-2. In the 61st minute, Alkaios Vakros ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paschalis Nikolaidis was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Giorgos Maltezakis struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Thodoris Vaxevanakis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kallithea FC. New old boys's Thodoris Vaxevanakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pantelis Patziaras in the 72nd minute of play. The supporters of New old boys booed when Kallithea FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iason Varkaris didn't get a good kick on the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Alkaios Vakros dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Paschalis Nikolaidis, 3-4. Alkaios Vakros might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paschalis Nikolaidis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alkaios Vakros ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 89 minutes, Vassilis Terzis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. New old boys's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vassilis Terzis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Giorgos Maltezakis scored 4-4 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thodoris Vaxevanakis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
