Aλtorrαchi's Michalis Metaxas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Aλtorrαchi from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Panagiotis Prasanakis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Michalis Metaxas. That made the score 1-0 in the 19 minute of play. Tilemachos Tsolakopoulos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Michalis Metaxas when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stratos Mavrakoglou in the 26th minute of play forced Vounési FC's goalkeeper Evaggelos Lagonikakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Panagiotis Prasanakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michalis Metaxas having to interfere. Evaggelos Lagonikakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Savas Michaloliakos in the 29th minute of play. Tilemachos Tsolakopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michalis Metaxas having to interfere. Aλtorrαchi's Michalis Metaxas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Panagiotis Prasanakis in the 32nd minute of play. After 33 minutes, Diogenis Karagoutis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aλtorrαchi and the Vounési FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 33 played minutes Aλtorrαchi got a freekick which was hit by Diogenis Karagoutis. Panagiotis Prasanakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michalis Metaxas having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Tilemachos Tsolakopoulos could shoot a difficult shot in the 43rd minute, which Michalis Metaxas however easily saved by the left post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Michalis Metaxas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stathis Gitsioudis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Evaggelos Lagonikakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stratos Mavrakoglou, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Gerasimos Ieronimidis hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Aλtorrαchi's Alexandros Tatsis shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 67th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Evaggelos Lagonikakis but with some difficulty. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stathis Gitsioudis during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Stathis Gitsioudis hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Konstantinos Bonovas hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Tilemachos Tsolakopoulos might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Michalis Metaxas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tilemachos Tsolakopoulos ran back to his position shaking his head. Aλtorrαchi's Michalis Metaxas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Panagiotis Prasanakis in the 90th minute of play. Savas Michaloliakos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Evaggelos Lagonikakis made a huge save. Michalis Metaxas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Panagiotis Prasanakis in the 97th minute of play. When the final whistle went the supporters of Aλtorrαchi were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Vounési FC side.
