The supporters of Andromahiotis f.c booed when Argentinos Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonis Bountouris didn't get a good kick on the ball. Themis Zoumis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 7thth minute tested the skills of Giotis Solakis when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Vaggelis Xarchakos was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 9 minutes into the match. Themis Zoumis's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 16thth minute, Giotis Solakis skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Giotis Solakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lino Messias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Giotis Solakis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mattias Rosen in the 21st minute. Giotis Solakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lino Messias, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Lino Messias kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Giotis Solakis. That made the score 2-0 in the 27 minute of play. Giotis Solakis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0.

The wind increased when Themis Zoumis made the kick off in the second half. Mattias Rosen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christoforos Skounas took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Giotis Solakis. Giotis Solakis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. After some careless play in the Argentinos Juniors defense, Mattias Rosen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Giotis Solakis. The Argentinos Juniors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Giotis Solakis should have stopped the shot. Through an outstanding action, after 62 minutes, Dimitris Asimakopoulos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Lino Messias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute, Iakovos Zebetoglou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71st minute Themis Zoumis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giotis Solakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Themis Zoumis took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Giotis Solakis. Giotis Solakis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. 82 minutes into the match, Themis Zoumis notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Argentinos Juniors's Giotis Solakis. Giotis Solakis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mattias Rosen in the 88th minute of play forced Argentinos Juniors's goalkeeper Giotis Solakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Giotis Solakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christodoulos Tsouchtras in the 90th minute of play. If Lino Messias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Andromahiotis f.c walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
