Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Mits F.C.I's Babbis Sabanis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Dimitris Kapetanopoulos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 8 minutes into the match, Astakσs's Dimitris Kapetanopoulos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ermis Bebis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 12 minutes, Dimitris Kapetanopoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Astakσs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dimitris Kapetanopoulos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dimitris Kapetanopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Ermis Bebis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ermis Bebis didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 16th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Michalis Rakkas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stavros Stavrou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Astakσs's Dimitris Kapetanopoulos got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 22ndth minute of the game Dimitris Kapetanopoulos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mits F.C.I's Ermis Bebis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Mits F.C.I's Andreas Savvas got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Thalis Tsitouras's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ermis Bebis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. In the 25thth minute of the game Dimitris Kapetanopoulos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mits F.C.I's Ermis Bebis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thalis Tsitouras blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ermis Bebis having to make a save. Dimitris Kapetanopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermis Bebis having to interfere. Ermis Bebis didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 46th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dimitris Kapetanopoulos to strike the kick off in the second half. Stavros Stavrou took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Michalis Rakkas. Michalis Rakkas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Dimitris Kapetanopoulos struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Ermis Bebis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Astakσs. In the 73rd minute, Dimitris Kapetanopoulos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ermis Bebis was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. After a rather tough play, Mits F.C.I's Ilias Samaratos got a free kick in the 80th minute. Ermis Bebis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thalis Tsitouras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thalis Tsitouras in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ermis Bebis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dimitris Kapetanopoulos in the 87th minute of play forced Mits F.C.I's goalkeeper Ermis Bebis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Mits F.C.I booed when Astakσs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nontas Okkas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 90 played minutes Mits F.C.I got a freekick which was hit by Babbis Sabanis. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Astakσs had won after a very even match.
