Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Trνgonas FC's Giannis Fytanidis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Giorgos Kabanis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zisis Stelakoglou was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 8th minute. Galarinσs's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Giannis Fytanidis in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kleanthis Nioblias saved Galarinσs from getting behind. 11 minutes into the match, Galarinσs's goal looked a bit too open when Akis Kyriazis came free, but Kleanthis Nioblias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Akis Kyriazis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kleanthis Nioblias having to interfere. Akis Kyriazis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Trνgonas FC's zone, Konstantinos Batistas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Loukas Paschalakis came out of the goal and Konstantinos Batistas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 24th minute, Konstantinos Batistas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Galarinσs fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Galarinσs's Kleanthis Nioblias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giannis Fytanidis in the 33rd minute of play. Zisis Stelakoglou's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Loukas Paschalakis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th match minute, Galarinσs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stelios Christakoglou to maneuver through the defense. Kleanthis Nioblias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Akis Kyriazis in the 45th minute of play. Kleanthis Nioblias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giannis Fytanidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Konstantinos Batistas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zisis Stelakoglou was the one to do the kick off. Christos Kakotichos hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. 58 minutes into the game, Anthimos Mountakis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Galarinσs's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Trνgonas FC the free kick. 62 minutes into the match, Trνgonas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Konstantinos Batistas came free, but Loukas Paschalakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Trνgonas FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Christos Asimakopoulos hit a great ball. Trνgonas FC's Akis Kyriazis got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Galarinσs's goalkeeper Kleanthis Nioblias, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Minas Krevetzakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kleanthis Nioblias having to interfere. Galarinσs's Kleanthis Nioblias proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Galarinσs from getting a goal against them. After having played for 71 minutes, Giannis Fytanidis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trνgonas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giannis Fytanidis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Akis Kyriazis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 74thth minute tested the skills of Kleanthis Nioblias when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Kleanthis Nioblias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giannis Fytanidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giannis Fytanidis in the 80th minute of play forced Galarinσs's goalkeeper Kleanthis Nioblias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Giannis Fytanidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kleanthis Nioblias having to interfere. The goalkeeper, Kleanthis Nioblias, was totally fooled by Trνgonas FC's Valerios Gountelitsas, who 85 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Akis Kyriazis took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kleanthis Nioblias. Kleanthis Nioblias dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. After a defensive mix-up in Galarinσs's zone, Giannis Fytanidis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kleanthis Nioblias came out of the goal and Giannis Fytanidis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Giannis Fytanidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 103rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over Trνgonas FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Galarinσs throughout the match.
