Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Vrondádhos FC's Tolis Staboulis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kostas Pechlivanidis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stefanos Peropoulos having to make a save. The supporters of Astakos FC booed when Vrondádhos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iraklis Pavlatos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th match minute, Astakos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Markos Alexiadis to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Vrondádhos FC's zone, Kostas Pechlivanidis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stefanos Peropoulos came out of the goal and Kostas Pechlivanidis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kostas Pechlivanidis might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stefanos Peropoulos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kostas Pechlivanidis ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 16th match minute, Astakos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kostas Pechlivanidis to maneuver through the defense. 21 minutes into the match, Anastasios Akrividis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stavros Panagiotidis. Astakos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anastasios Akrividis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Stavros Panagiotidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stratos Kalabokis in the 25th minute of play. When Christos Veziropoulos fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Astakos FC's protests and gave Christos Veziropoulos a yellow card for diving instead. In the 27th match minute, Astakos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christos Veziropoulos to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute, Vrasidas Tsoulidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 35 minutes, Theodosis Kastaniadis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Astakos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Theodosis Kastaniadis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vrondádhos FC's Stefanos Peropoulos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Vrondádhos FC from getting a goal against them. Tolis Staboulis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stavros Panagiotidis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kostas Pechlivanidis to make the kick off. Stavros Panagiotidis was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Miltiadis Kopanakis. Anestis Zisimopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Vrondádhos FC's zone, Kostas Pechlivanidis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stefanos Peropoulos came out of the goal and Kostas Pechlivanidis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stefanos Peropoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kostas Pechlivanidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. 62 minutes into the match, Astakos FC's goalkeeper Stavros Panagiotidis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anestis Zisimopoulos. Stavros Panagiotidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tolis Staboulis in the 77th minute of the match. Theodosis Kastaniadis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefanos Peropoulos having to interfere. Stefanos Peropoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Theodosis Kastaniadis, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Theodosis Kastaniadis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Stefanos Peropoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stavros Panagiotidis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anestis Zisimopoulos went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. In the 96th match minute, Astakos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dimitris Skountis to maneuver through the defense. Vrondádhos FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
