In the 12th match minute, Melidron was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stratos Tobouloglou to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Armoliakos OSFP's goalkeeper Giannis Giotis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Armoliakos OSFP's Giannis Giotis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iosif Loukidis in the 30th minute of play. Dionysis Kabantais kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. If Savas Kouloucheris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Melidron's Giannis Athanasiadis got control of the ball when Zinon Makris tried to sneak it across the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Orestis Apostolakoglou hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After having played for 65 minutes, Zinon Makris managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Armoliakos OSFP's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zinon Makris was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Giannis Athanasiadis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Telis Anagnostakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iosif Loukidis struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Giannis Giotis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Melidron. Melidron's Iosif Loukidis got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stratos Tobouloglou struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Giannis Giotis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Melidron. Armoliakos OSFP's Giannis Giotis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Armoliakos OSFP from getting a goal against them. In the 86th minute Iosif Loukidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giannis Giotis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Zinon Makris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 93 played minutes, Armoliakos OSFP's Pavlos Symeonakos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Giannis Athanasiadis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Armoliakos OSFP reached it. Iosif Loukidis charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iosif Loukidis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Iosif Loukidis hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. When the match was over Melidron could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Armoliakos OSFP throughout the match.
