Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Thomas Kabouras got the match started through his kick off. 7 minutes into the game, Che Guevara's Nontas Preftokis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kostas Stathopoulos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 10th match minute, Che Guevara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renos Ignatiou to maneuver through the defense. 17 minutes into the game, Thomas Kabouras cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Nasos Neopoulos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thomas Kabouras in the 20thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nasos Neopoulos, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 21st minute, Pavlos Petkakis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Thomas Kabouras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pavlos Petkakis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nasos Neopoulos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by Che Guevara's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ntinos Kolotoubis was slow to take the kick. During this time AO Xanthi's players had a chance to rest. AO Xanthi's Ntinos Kolotoubis was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Nasos Neopoulos in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Thomas Kabouras struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Nasos Neopoulos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AO Xanthi. A hard shot 34 in the game by Thomas Kabouras from a close distance when the talented Nasos Neopoulos managed to make a qualified save. Che Guevara's players were relieved. Nasos Neopoulos was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ntinos Kolotoubis. Thomas Kabouras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Nasos Neopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The wind increased when Stratos Sourlis made the kick off in the second half. Pavlos Petkakis took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nasos Neopoulos. Nasos Neopoulos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Thomas Kabouras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 62 minutes into the match, Thomas Kabouras notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Che Guevara's Nasos Neopoulos. Nasos Neopoulos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 66th minute, Thomas Kabouras ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nasos Neopoulos was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. Thomas Kabouras might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nasos Neopoulos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thomas Kabouras ran back to his position shaking his head. Argyris Ntouvaris lost his temper 74 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 74th minute of the game. One of AO Xanthi:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Che Guevara:s goal. 79 minutes into the match, AO Xanthi's goalkeeper Kostas Stathopoulos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nontas Preftokis. If Petros Panagou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes into the match, Pavlos Petkakis notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of Che Guevara's Nasos Neopoulos. Nasos Neopoulos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. AO Xanthi's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ntinos Kolotoubis in the 93rd minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Petros Panagou heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely.
