Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) OLYMPIAKOS SYROY F.C's Giannis Kakaroglou started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th match minute, Asteras Ampelokipon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vaggelis Botinos to maneuver through the defense. Eutichios Lemonis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Giannis Kakaroglou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Odysseas Kavouropoulos in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Apostolis Fragakos saved OLYMPIAKOS SYROY F.C from getting behind. In the 15th match minute, OLYMPIAKOS SYROY F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stavros Lidakis to maneuver through the defense. Nikos Rafailidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Apostolis Fragakos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute Odysseas Kavouropoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apostolis Fragakos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Asteras Ampelokipon's Odysseas Kavouropoulos in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye OLYMPIAKOS SYROY F.C's goalie prevented a goal. If Odysseas Kavouropoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nikos Rafailidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Apostolis Fragakos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Odysseas Kavouropoulos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Apostolis Fragakos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. 38 minutes into the game, Christos Papadopoulos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. OLYMPIAKOS SYROY F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Asteras Ampelokipon the free kick. Christos Papadopoulos kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Apostolis Fragakos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nikos Rafailidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute Odysseas Kavouropoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apostolis Fragakos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Grigoris Panagakos charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Grigoris Panagakos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 46th minute, one of OLYMPIAKOS SYROY F.C:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for OLYMPIAKOS SYROY F.C. Apostolis Fragakos went to the wrong direction when Alekos Pontikas was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Odysseas Kavouropoulos was the one to do the kick off. When Asteras Ampelokipon's Odysseas Kavouropoulos in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 62nd minute, Odysseas Kavouropoulos fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Apostolis Fragakos, passed just outside the right post. 63 minutes into the match, Nikos Rafailidis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Apostolis Fragakos. OLYMPIAKOS SYROY F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nikos Rafailidis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 66th minute, Ilias Moraitopoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Menios Dellios stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Giannis Kakaroglou's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. In the 69th minute, Asteras Ampelokipon's Odysseas Kavouropoulos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. After a rather tough play, Asteras Ampelokipon's Fivos Pachopoulos got a free kick in the 74th minute. 75 minutes into the match, OLYMPIAKOS SYROY F.C's Kyriakos Tsoukalis broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. A collision led to OLYMPIAKOS SYROY F.C getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Kyriakos Tsoukalis hit a great ball. Alekos Pontikas shot from long distance in the 78th minute, but Apostolis Fragakos was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. In the 81st minute Eutichios Lemonis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Menios Dellios saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 84 minutes, Odysseas Kavouropoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Asteras Ampelokipon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Odysseas Kavouropoulos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 86th minute Odysseas Kavouropoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apostolis Fragakos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Nikos Rafailidis came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Asteras Ampelokipon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nikos Rafailidis couldn't finish the play. When Odysseas Kavouropoulos, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 92 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Apostolis Fragakos was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Odysseas Kavouropoulos in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Apostolis Fragakos saved OLYMPIAKOS SYROY F.C from getting behind. The Asteras Ampelokipon supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Asteras Ampelokipon would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
