Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Namık Atabek started the match with the kick off. The AEK FC fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when AEK FC's Namık Atabek looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Namık Atabek received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pavlos Stathis came out and tried to block the shot, but Namık Atabek slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 24th minute. After 31 minutes AEK FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vassilis Farmakidis who took care of the corner kick. Chrisostomos Iordanopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Lakis Stellatos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lakis Stellatos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Grigoris Fragis's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Lakis Stellatos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grigoris Fragis in the 36th minute of play. After having played for 46 minutes, Namık Atabek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AEK FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Namık Atabek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Grigoris Fragis to strike the kick off in the second half. Giannis Banasidis kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Palaion Diasellon's Grigoris Fragis got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
