Themistoklis Sakoulidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Thomas Mitropoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Sotos Koutsos sped through Malounion's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Thomas Mitropoulos. After 10 minutes, Antonis Simeonidis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Krasιtsa BC and the Malounion players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Krasιtsa BC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 10th minute. Penalty! Vassilis Panaretos shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Themistoklis Sakoulidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Thomas Mitropoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Themistoklis Sakoulidis in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thomas Mitropoulos saved Malounion from getting behind. Sotos Koutsos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Themistoklis Sakoulidis was extremely unlucky when he, in the 22nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Thomas Mitropoulos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sotos Koutsos in the 25th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Malounion's goal looked a bit too open when Themistoklis Sakoulidis came free, but Thomas Mitropoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Sotos Koutsos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 45 minutes into the match, Sotos Koutsos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thomas Mitropoulos. Malounion's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sotos Koutsos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Themistoklis Sakoulidis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Krasιtsa BC's supporters rose to their feet, but Themistoklis Sakoulidis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thomas Mitropoulos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sotos Koutsos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Thomas Mitropoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vassilis Ketikidis made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Michalis Tzanetakos sent off a good shot on target. 75 minutes into the game, Krasιtsa BC's Themistoklis Sakoulidis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thomas Mitropoulos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Krasιtsa BC's Vassilis Ketikidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anestis Trilofos in the 80th minute of play. Sotos Koutsos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Themistoklis Sakoulidis struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Thomas Mitropoulos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Krasιtsa BC. In the 97thth minute of the game Sotos Koutsos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Malounion's Thomas Mitropoulos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Krasιtsa BC fully deserved thier win.
