Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tasos Papaefstathiou took the kick off in the first half of the match. Prodromos Vournas made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Alexis Alexandridis sent off a good shot on target. Tasos Papaefstathiou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Lakis Panagiotopoulos fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Asteras's protests and gave Lakis Panagiotopoulos a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Asteras getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Lakis Panagiotopoulos hit a great ball. Prodromos Vournas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tasos Papaefstathiou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paok4Hellas's Thomas Vangelis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Praporgescu in the 8th minute of play. In the 18th minute Tasos Papaefstathiou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prodromos Vournas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Prodromos Vournas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tasos Papaefstathiou in the 20th minute of the match. Prodromos Vournas made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Alexis Alexandridis sent off a good shot on target. 24 minutes into the match, Paok4Hellas's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Praporgescu came free, but Thomas Vangelis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karl-Ove Mattsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute, Iraklis Lazos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alexis Alexandridis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Prodromos Vournas made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Asteras's zone, Alexis Alexandridis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Prodromos Vournas came out of the goal and Alexis Alexandridis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 35 minutes into the match, Asteras's Ivan Praporgescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thomas Vangelis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Asteras's Prodromos Vournas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Asteras from getting a goal against them. 38 minutes into the match, Paok4Hellas's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Praporgescu came free, but Thomas Vangelis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Prodromos Vournas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexis Alexandridis in the 40th minute. Tasos Papaefstathiou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prodromos Vournas having to interfere. If Tasos Papaefstathiou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Ivan Praporgescu made the kick off in the second half. Asteras's Gerasimos Veliadis was substituted for Viktoras Dousis. A collision led to Paok4Hellas getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Tasos Papaefstathiou hit a great ball. In the 56th minute, Lakis Panagiotopoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 57 minutes into the match, Paok4Hellas's Kostas Salonikis broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a rather tough play, Asteras's Anastasios Pantrianakos got a free kick in the 58th minute. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Tasos Papaefstathiou put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Prodromos Vournas. 65 minutes into the match, Alexis Alexandridis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Prodromos Vournas. Asteras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alexis Alexandridis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 71st minute, Konstantinos Ntinopoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karl-Ove Mattsson scored 2-1 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thomas Vangelis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 78th minute, Tasos Papaefstathiou made a precise shot to the right of Prodromos Vournas. Asteras's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Theofilos Stefanis hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Ivan Praporgescu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Thomas Vangelis. That made the score 3-2 in the 84 minute of play. Asteras's Prodromos Vournas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tasos Papaefstathiou in the 88th minute of play. Prodromos Vournas came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Paok4Hellas's Theofilos Stefanis. But to his dismay, Theofilos Stefanis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2.
