Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ivan Praporgescu made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute Nikos Kraidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prodromos Vournas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nestoras Kolonelos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lakis Panagiotopoulos in the 7th minute. Nestoras Kolonelos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Praporgescu in the 11th minute of play. Nestoras Kolonelos was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ivan Praporgescu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, REDS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Praporgescu came free, but Nestoras Kolonelos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karl-Ove Mattsson charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Karl-Ove Mattsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nikos Kraidis in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Prodromos Vournas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 29th minute, Nikos Kraidis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lakis Panagiotopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestoras Kolonelos having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Ivan Praporgescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nestoras Kolonelos was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. In the 33rd minute, Kostas Vallas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 34 played minutes REDS FC got a freekick which was hit by Alekos Valassopoulos. In the 35th minute, Karl-Ove Mattsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Asteras getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Lakis Panagiotopoulos hit a great ball. Miltos Agathakoglou lost his temper 46 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 45th minute of the game. One of Asteras:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of REDS FC:s goal. Prodromos Vournas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Theodosis Liolidis went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nikos Kraidis made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ivan Praporgescu in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nestoras Kolonelos saved REDS FC from getting behind. If Giorgos Iraklideas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Prodromos Vournas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nikos Kraidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Prodromos Vournas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christoforos Belos in the 69th minute of the match. Ivan Praporgescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kostas Vallas kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Ivan Praporgescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nestoras Kolonelos was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. If Lakis Panagiotopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nestoras Kolonelos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ivan Praporgescu went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Ivan Praporgescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Nestoras Kolonelos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 98 minutes, Prodromos Vournas successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the referee ended the match the Asteras players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
