Fondas Lazarakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 7th minute Fivos Merganiotis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fondas Lazarakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th minute, Alexandros Kyriakis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fondas Lazarakis was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Fondas Lazarakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandros Kyriakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Milan getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Giannis Tsakiropoulos hit a great ball. Babbis Vardoulakis kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. When Akakios Koubilias came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Milan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Akakios Koubilias couldn't finish the play. 29 minutes into the match, Rodhokhorion's goal looked a bit too open when Giannis Tsakiropoulos came free, but Lambis Petimezas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Rodhokhorion getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Sotos Tsevas hit a great ball. Milan's Fondas Lazarakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tilemachos Kaiafas in the 35th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Milan's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandros Kyriakis came free, but Fondas Lazarakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute, Babbis Vardoulakis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rodhokhorion fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Lambis Petimezas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anestis Malamas in the 45th minute. Babbis Vardoulakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fondas Lazarakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tilemachos Kaiafas in the 47th minute of the match. The Milan players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Rodhokhorion were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Tilemachos Kaiafas made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Milan's Akakios Koubilias nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lambis Petimezas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. 58 minutes into the match, Milan's goal looked a bit too open when Babbis Vardoulakis came free, but Fondas Lazarakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fondas Lazarakis made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Alexandros Kyriakis sent off a good shot on target. In the 60th minute, Babbis Georgiou left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rodhokhorion fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. 64 minutes into the match, Milan's goal looked a bit too open when Tilemachos Kaiafas came free, but Fondas Lazarakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Milan's Fondas Lazarakis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Milan from getting a goal against them. In the 75th minute Akakios Koubilias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lambis Petimezas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Giannis Tsakiropoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Theofanis Kommatias kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Grigoris Dimidis charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Grigoris Dimidis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 81 minutes into the game, one of Rodhokhorion:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Akakios Koubilias shot the penalty kick right outside the post. 86 minutes into the match, Alexandros Kyriakis dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fondas Lazarakis, 2-4. 89 minutes into the game, Fivos Merganiotis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fondas Lazarakis. Fivos Merganiotis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-5. Fondas Lazarakis was a little too slow when Fivos Merganiotis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 93rd minute. The score was now 2-6. Fivos Merganiotis hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match.
