Zisis Kontogiannopoulos's late challenge caught a Sari Pazar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zisis Kontogiannopoulos helped the player get up and apologised. Tríkerion:s Apostolos Velidis showed great skill when he stopped Paraskevas Moraitopoulos:s penalty. Sari Pazar's Isidoros Liolidis got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tríkerion's Apostolos Velidis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Tríkerion from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christos Pavlakakis got free with Apostolos Velidis in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Isidoros Liolidis might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Apostolos Velidis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isidoros Liolidis ran back to his position shaking his head. Apostolos Velidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoros Liolidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 35 minutes into the game, Tríkerion's Valerios Rammos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ermis Karpazidis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Tríkerion's zone, Christos Pavlakakis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Apostolos Velidis came out of the goal and Christos Pavlakakis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Loukas Matsaggos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tríkerion's supporters rose to their feet, but Loukas Matsaggos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ermis Karpazidis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Tríkerion booed when Sari Pazar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vassilis Liadelis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute Dimos Matzanas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermis Karpazidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Loukas Matsaggos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Ermis Karpazidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dimos Matzanas to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Dimos Matzanas sped through Sari Pazar's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ermis Karpazidis. If Dimos Matzanas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 69 played minutes Dimos Matzanas rounded Sari Pazar's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-3. In the 76th minute, Loukas Matsaggos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ermis Karpazidis was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. The audience was convinced that Dimos Matzanas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ermis Karpazidis was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Tríkerion's Dimos Matzanas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ermis Karpazidis. That made the score 0-5 after 88 minutes of play. Isidoros Liolidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apostolos Velidis having to interfere. After 93 minutes, Nikos Karadimos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tríkerion and the Sari Pazar players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nikos Karadimos hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match.
