Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Christodoulos Valassopoulos took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute, Christodoulos Valassopoulos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sotos Samanoglou. The goal made the score 1-0. If Dionysis Papafanopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 12 played minutes MAVROGATOS FC got a freekick which was hit by Ntinos Mastrogiannis. In the 14th minute Christodoulos Valassopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sotos Samanoglou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Prodromos Kaklamanakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dimitris Papadamopoulos in the 19th minute of the match. MAVROGATOS FC's attack was well implemented in the 25th minute, but when Dimitris Papadamopoulos was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Dionysis Papafanopoulos struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Sotos Samanoglou didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Drowning Pool FC. The audience was convinced that Dimitris Papadamopoulos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Prodromos Kaklamanakis was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. 32 minutes into the game, Sakis Massoutas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Prodromos Kaklamanakis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Prodromos Kaklamanakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sakis Massoutas, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. MAVROGATOS FC's Dimitris Papadamopoulos got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dimitris Papadamopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prodromos Kaklamanakis having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Christodoulos Valassopoulos hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. When Dimitris Papadamopoulos came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the MAVROGATOS FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dimitris Papadamopoulos couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in MAVROGATOS FC's zone, Christodoulos Valassopoulos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sotos Samanoglou came out of the goal and Christodoulos Valassopoulos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sakis Massoutas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Prodromos Kaklamanakis made a huge save. Efthimis Karakotsos hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stefanos Vamvakidis during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Akis Tabakos's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Sotos Samanoglou on his right side and into the goal. 80 minutes into the game it was 2-1. Dionysis Papafanopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sotos Samanoglou having to interfere. With a little luck, Drowning Pool FC's Prodromos Kaklamanakis got control of the ball when Sakis Massoutas tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Dionysis Papafanopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpected shot in the 95th minute by Dimitris Papadamopoulos got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. For all the effort they put into the match, the MAVROGATOS FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Drowning Pool FC.
