Christodoulos Valassopoulos ran back to his position shaking his head. santa ARGENTINA FC's Nikitas Papaikonomou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dionysis Papafanopoulos in the 15th minute of play. When Dionysis Papafanopoulos came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Drowning Pool FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dionysis Papafanopoulos couldn't finish the play. In the 24th minute Christodoulos Valassopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikitas Papaikonomou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Prodromos Kaklamanakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viktoras Bibilas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aris Louvaris kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. The supporters of Drowning Pool FC booed when santa ARGENTINA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nikos Papanikolopoulos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dionysis Papafanopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikitas Papaikonomou having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christodoulos Valassopoulos in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nikitas Papaikonomou prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Christodoulos Valassopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 44 minutes into the match, santa ARGENTINA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Christodoulos Valassopoulos came free, but Nikitas Papaikonomou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Viktoras Bibilas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Christoforos Basinas managed to get in a good position for a shot. santa ARGENTINA FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Christoforos Basinas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Prodromos Kaklamanakis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 63 minutes into the match, Aris Louvaris notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Drowning Pool FC's Prodromos Kaklamanakis. Prodromos Kaklamanakis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dionysis Papafanopoulos hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match.
