Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Stefanos Papadogiannis started the match with the kick off. After 7 played minutes Farsala got a freekick which was hit by Dimitris Laganas. After 8 minutes of play, Babades FC's Nikos Logarakis made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sakis Bikakis was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Fanis Zacharopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Farsala's Stefanos Papadogiannis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Stathis Meletos. That made the score 1-1 after 14 minutes of play. If Nikos Logarakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kostas Tsouloufas in the 24th minute of play forced Farsala's goalkeeper Sakis Bikakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Farsala's Sakis Bikakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikos Logarakis in the 25th minute of play. Stefanos Papadogiannis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Stathis Meletos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nikos Logarakis in the 39th minute of play forced Farsala's goalkeeper Sakis Bikakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fanis Zacharopoulos struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Stathis Meletos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Farsala. Stathis Meletos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stefanos Papadogiannis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Farsala's zone, Nikos Logarakis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sakis Bikakis came out of the goal and Nikos Logarakis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Kostas Tsouloufas made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Fanis Zacharopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stathis Meletos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Stefanos Papadogiannis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stathis Meletos was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fanis Zacharopoulos in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stathis Meletos saved Babades FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fanis Zacharopoulos in the 67th minute of play forced Babades FC's goalkeeper Stathis Meletos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dimitris Laganas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Stathis Meletos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Fanis Zacharopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thodoris Kourmentalas kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. When Farsala's Stefanos Papadogiannis in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Babades FC's goalie prevented a goal. When Giorgos Pirovolikos fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Babades FC's protests and gave Giorgos Pirovolikos a yellow card for diving instead. 78 minutes into the game, one of Babades FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Farsala a penalty, 80 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Isidoros Meimarakis, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Babades FC's Stathis Meletos. 3-1. 83 minutes into the match, Farsala's goal looked a bit too open when Kostas Tsouloufas came free, but Sakis Bikakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dimitris Laganas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Babades FC's Stathis Meletos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefanos Papadogiannis in the 88th minute of play. In the 89th minute Stefanos Papadogiannis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stathis Meletos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, Babades FC's goal looked a bit too open when Stefanos Papadogiannis came free, but Stathis Meletos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stathis Meletos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefanos Papadogiannis in the 93rd minute of play. Loukianos Eleftherakis hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Stefanos Papadogiannis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stathis Meletos having to interfere. After having played for 97 minutes, Stefanos Papadogiannis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Farsala's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stefanos Papadogiannis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee ended the match the Farsala players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
