The supporters of Katergarides FC booed when Babades FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giannis Kalabokis didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nestoras Kaminaroglou in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stathis Meletos saved Babades FC from getting behind. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kostas Tsouloufas to make the kick off. After 56 minutes, Thodoris Kourmentalas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Babades FC and the Katergarides FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Katergarides FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christos Papadopoulos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
