The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Takis Kopelis during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 8 played minutes Mpizelokastritsa FC got a freekick which was hit by Takis Kopelis. Takis Asimis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kosmas Krikos in the 10th minute of the match. Minas Kalimanis kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Mpizelokastritsa FC's zone, Kosmas Krikos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Takis Asimis came out of the goal and Kosmas Krikos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Takis Asimis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kosmas Krikos, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Dimitris Katsiabis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christos Iatros kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 35th match minute, Tripoli FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christos Iatros to maneuver through the defense. After 39 played minutes Tripoli FC got a freekick which was hit by Minas Kalimanis. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After 60 played minutes Tripoli FC got a freekick which was hit by Vassilis Valkanis. 69 minutes into the game, Christos Iatros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tripoli FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mpizelokastritsa FC the free kick. If Pantelis Antonatos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 76 played minutes Mpizelokastritsa FC got a freekick which was hit by Takis Kopelis. 80 minutes into the game, Christos Iatros cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Takis Asimis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Efthimis Spyropoulos kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Tripoli FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
