Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kosmas Krikos started the match with the kick off. In the 10th minute, Christos Iatros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Tripoli FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Torsten Beckström should have stopped the shot. Vassilis Vasiliou struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Torsten Beckström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Spathaíïka. The supporters of Spathaíïka booed when Tripoli FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efthimis Spyropoulos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Trifon Alexidis struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Torsten Beckström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Spathaíïka. When Nikitas Gitas fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tripoli FC's protests and gave Nikitas Gitas a yellow card for diving instead. After 34 played minutes Tripoli FC got a freekick which was hit by Nikitas Gitas. Vassilis Vasiliou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torsten Beckström having to interfere. Trifon Alexidis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Trifon Alexidis made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Makis Leventis during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 52nd match minute, Spathaíïka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Makis Leventis to maneuver through the defense. Vassilis Vasiliou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torsten Beckström having to interfere. When Kosmas Krikos came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Tripoli FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kosmas Krikos couldn't finish the play. Tripoli FC's Torsten Beckström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Tripoli FC from getting a goal against them. Trifon Alexidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Kosmas Krikos hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. The supporters of Spathaíïka booed when Tripoli FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Minas Kalimanis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vassilis Vasiliou could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Torsten Beckström made a huge save. In the 87th minute of the match Stamatis Vakalos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Torsten Beckström skillfully saved the ball. Kosmas Krikos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Markos Moraitelis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 95 played minutes Spathaíïka got a freekick which was hit by Ilias Nikolatos. When the match was over Spathaíïka could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Tripoli FC throughout the match.
