In the 4th minute, Themistoklis Borovilos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Takis Asimis. The goal made the score 1-0. 7 minutes in the game, Themistoklis Borovilos fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Takis Asimis having to interfere. When Themistoklis Borovilos came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Karababαs BC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Themistoklis Borovilos couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Themistoklis Borovilos in the 16th minute of play forced Mpizelokastritsa FC's goalkeeper Takis Asimis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Takis Asimis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Themistoklis Borovilos in the 21st minute of play. Themistoklis Borovilos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Takis Asimis having to interfere. In the 29thth minute of the game Themistoklis Borovilos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mpizelokastritsa FC's Takis Asimis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Takis Kopelis's late challenge caught a Karababαs BC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Takis Kopelis helped the player get up and apologised. After 31 played minutes Mpizelokastritsa FC got a freekick which was hit by Takis Kopelis. Takis Asimis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Themistoklis Borovilos in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Stergios Routsis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dimitris Katsiabis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Themistoklis Borovilos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Takis Asimis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karababαs BC's Kostas Plevritis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Karababαs BC from getting a goal against them. In the 61st minute Fotis Kalokiris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Takis Asimis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karababαs BC's Kostas Plevritis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Spyros Kezdoglou in the 64th minute of play. In the 71stth minute of the game Spyros Kezdoglou who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Karababαs BC's Kostas Plevritis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fotis Kalokiris struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Takis Asimis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Karababαs BC. After 78 played minutes, Mpizelokastritsa FC's Giannis Kounadis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kostas Plevritis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mpizelokastritsa FC reached it. In the 79th minute Themistoklis Borovilos suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Kosmas Margaritis charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kosmas Margaritis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 79th minute, one of Mpizelokastritsa FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mpizelokastritsa FC. Karababαs BC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
