In the 3rd minute Panos Mourikis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gong Shu Yuan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Menios Klidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Likoyiαnnis FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Chrisostomos Velas hit a great ball. 10 minutes into the match, Likoyiαnnis FC's goalkeeper Nestoras Saravalakos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Renos Chroniadis. Nestoras Saravalakos was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nikos Sapanis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. In the 16th minute, Chrisostomos Velas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Likoyiαnnis FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Likoyiαnnis FC's Nestoras Saravalakos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Likoyiαnnis FC from getting a goal against them. Sofoklis Serifis's late challenge caught a Pythagóreio FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sofoklis Serifis helped the player get up and apologised. After 20 played minutes Likoyiαnnis FC got a freekick which was hit by Sofoklis Serifis. Menios Klidiss short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Nestoras Saravalakos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Panos Seremetidis in the 28th minute of play forced Pythagóreio FC's goalkeeper Gong Shu Yuan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pythagóreio FC's Gong Shu Yuan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chrisostomos Velas in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute Iordanis Stathakoglou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestoras Saravalakos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gong Shu Yuan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Panos Mourikis in the 37th minute of the match. Renos Chroniadis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Nestoras Saravalakos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Renos Chroniadis made a precise shot to the right of Nestoras Saravalakos. Likoyiαnnis FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Panos Mourikis to make the kick off. After 56 played minutes Pythagóreio FC got a freekick which was hit by Menios Klidis. In the 57thth minute of the game Chrisostomos Velas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pythagóreio FC's Gong Shu Yuan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Themis Vranas got free with Gong Shu Yuan in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gong Shu Yuan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chrisostomos Velas in the 61st minute of the match. The supporters of Pythagóreio FC booed when Likoyiαnnis FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Panos Seremetidis didn't get a good kick on the ball. 70 minutes into the game, Pythagóreio FC's Zacharias Papagiannatos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nestoras Saravalakos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Guntademaro Orozco kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. If Menios Klidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pythagóreio FC's Vrasidas Christodoulou was substituted for Nikos Sapanis. After having played for 83 minutes, Panos Mourikis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Likoyiαnnis FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Panos Mourikis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Menios Klidis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nestoras Saravalakos was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Iordanis Stathakoglou took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nestoras Saravalakos. Nestoras Saravalakos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Pythagóreio FC fully deserved thier win.
