Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Perithia BC's Timos Markas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Timos Markas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Kostas Mourikis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th minute, Timos Markas fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 17 minutes, Thalis Kapetanidis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Skoúnda FC and the Perithia BC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Skoúnda FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Thalis Kapetanidis hit a great ball. In the 21st minute Valentinos Theodorou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eutichios Kouretas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eutichios Kouretas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentinos Theodorou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 30 minutes, Nikos Tosodoulis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Skoúnda FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nikos Tosodoulis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Skoúnda FC's zone, Timos Markas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michalis Leontiou came out of the goal and Timos Markas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Timos Markas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michalis Leontiou having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Kostas Mourikis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Michalis Leontiou. Skoúnda FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kostas Mourikis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 47th minute Timos Markas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michalis Leontiou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valentinos Theodorou was the one to do the kick off. Michalis Leontiou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timos Markas, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Timos Markas in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Michalis Leontiou saved Skoúnda FC from getting behind. Michalis Leontiou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timos Markas in the 61st minute of the match. In the 64th match minute, Perithia BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manolis Papoutsakos to maneuver through the defense. The audience held their breath when Miltos Saveris in the 65th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Eutichios Kouretas's left hand side. After a rather tough play, Perithia BC's Antonis Panagoulias got a free kick in the 67th minute. A collision led to Skoúnda FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Thymios Charakos hit a great ball. In the 71st minute, Timos Markas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Perithia BC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Michalis Leontiou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Markos Paraskevopoulos in the 80th minute of play. If Kostas Mourikis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 88 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Skoúnda FC! Perithia BC's Timos Markas got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kostas Mourikis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Michalis Leontiou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
