Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kostas Kiliaras in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Michalis Leontiou prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 11 minutes into the match, Plikáti BC's goalkeeper Timos Eleftheriadis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nikos Tosodoulis. Michalis Leontiou didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ntinos Pitsikoulakis went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 25 minutes, Nikos Tosodoulis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Skoúnda FC and the Plikáti BC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Skoúnda FC's Nikos Tosodoulis got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 34th minute, Dimitris Platakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kostas Kiliaras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michalis Leontiou having to interfere. Michalis Leontiou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ntinos Pitsikoulakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Timos Eleftheriadis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentinos Theodorou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46thth minute of the game Kostas Kiliaras who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Skoúnda FC's Michalis Leontiou was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half Plikáti BC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 57th minute, Ntinos Pitsikoulakis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Michalis Leontiou was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Thymios Charakos charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Thymios Charakos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Plikáti BC made a substitution. Manos Egomitis replaced Dimos Karoulias. The goalkeeper, Michalis Leontiou, was totally fooled by Plikáti BC's Giannis Mastrantoniou, who 65 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Ntinos Pitsikoulakis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Michalis Leontiou made a huge save. Timos Eleftheriadis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nikos Tosodoulis, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Michalis Leontiou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miltos Kaounos in the 78th minute of the match. Ntinos Pitsikoulakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michalis Leontiou having to interfere. Ntinos Pitsikoulakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Michalis Leontiou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 94 played minutes Kostas Kiliaras could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 0-8 into the left cross. Plikáti BC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
