Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the match, Giotis Tzevelekos notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Markiαnika's Anthimos Tavoularis. Anthimos Tavoularis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Giotis Tzevelekos came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Vasiliko fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giotis Tzevelekos couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Diogenis Panagiotakos during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 12th match minute, Markiαnika was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Makis Stamatis to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute Marios Kolonelos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Spyros Nebegleras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giorgos Kyriakidis in the 15th minute of play forced Vasiliko's goalkeeper Spyros Nebegleras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Spyros Nebegleras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marios Kolonelos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nikos Voskaridis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Anthimos Tavoularis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vasiliko's Spyros Nebegleras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marios Kolonelos in the 29th minute of play. 39 minutes into the game, Nikos Voskaridis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Anthimos Tavoularis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Giotis Tzevelekos's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Anthimos Tavoularis firmly grabbed it by the left post. Giorgos Kyriakidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Spyros Nebegleras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 46 minutes into the game, Daniil Kousouridis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vasiliko's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Markiαnika the free kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nikos Voskaridis made a kick off. If Giotis Tzevelekos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 3-1 became the score in the 57th minute when Nikos Voskaridis elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Marios Kolonelos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Spyros Nebegleras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anthimos Tavoularis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giotis Tzevelekos in the 71st minute of the match. Nikos Voskaridis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anthimos Tavoularis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. If Marios Kolonelos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marios Kolonelos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Spyros Nebegleras having to interfere. Giorgos Kyriakidis was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 91st minute. Markiαnika's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Giorgos Kyriakidis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Spyros Nebegleras having to make a save. When the referee blew the final whistle, Vasiliko could leave the field as winners, despite Markiαnika having more of the ball for most of the match.
