Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Sotiris Korkolis got the match started through his kick off. Panos Karpouzopoulos kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. If Sotiris Korkolis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 9 minutes into the match, Sotiris Korkolis notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Néai Kydoníai FC's Lambis Kiourtsidis. Lambis Kiourtsidis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Pondismιnon's Panos Karpouzopoulos got a free kick in the 12th minute. After 14 played minutes Pondismιnon got a freekick which was hit by Stathis Pentaras. Pondismιnon's Nestoras Koronas got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Fanis Ntaikos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Néai Kydoníai FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fanis Ntaikos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ntinos Prevezanos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chatziantoniou Koumarianos in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ntinos Prevezanos saved Pondismιnon from getting behind. Stathis Pentaras kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. If Chatziantoniou Koumarianos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31stth minute of the game Fanis Ntaikos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pondismιnon's Ntinos Prevezanos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Stathis Pentaras kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Pondismιnon's goal looked a bit too open when Chatziantoniou Koumarianos came free, but Ntinos Prevezanos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Sotiris Korkolis came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Pondismιnon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sotiris Korkolis couldn't finish the play. If Sotiris Korkolis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Chatziantoniou Koumarianos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Néai Kydoníai FC booed when Pondismιnon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fotis Tzorvas didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Fanis Ntaikos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dimitris Ksiromeritis's late challenge caught a Pondismιnon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dimitris Ksiromeritis helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Néai Kydoníai FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Dimitris Ksiromeritis hit a great ball. If Sotiris Korkolis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fanis Ntaikos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lambis Kiourtsidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestoras Koronas in the 74th minute of play. Nestoras Koronas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lambis Kiourtsidis having to interfere. Ntinos Prevezanos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chatziantoniou Koumarianos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 84 minutes into the match, Pondismιnon's goal looked a bit too open when Chatziantoniou Koumarianos came free, but Ntinos Prevezanos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vrasidas Paschalakis kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. When Sotiris Korkolis came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Pondismιnon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sotiris Korkolis couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Nestoras Koronas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lambis Kiourtsidis was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. With 92 minutes on the clock, Paraskevas Georgiadis commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Savas Braoudakis shot the penalty kick right outside the post. After 96 played minutes Néai Kydoníai FC got a freekick which was hit by Chatziantoniou Koumarianos. Savas Braoudakis's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Lambis Kiourtsidis on his right side and into the goal. 98 minutes into the game it was 3-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Pondismιnon fans cheered their team off the field, for while Néai Kydoníai FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
