If Thanos Kourkoubetis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Raftanaνoi's Panos Katsouranis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Theocharis Grigorakis. That made the score 1-0 after 27 minutes of play. 33 minutes into the match, Raftanaνoi's goal looked a bit too open when Nikos Stratsianis came free, but Fivos Chatzakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanos Kourkoubetis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Raftanaνoi getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Lambros Vlastos hit a great ball. Theocharis Grigorakis made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Michalis Kalivatsis sent off a good shot on target. Lambros Vlastos kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Fivos Chatzakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nikos Stratsianis, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Nasos Stamatis tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Fivos Chatzakis. Fivos Chatzakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Notis Pallas fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tsókari's protests and gave Notis Pallas a yellow card for diving instead. In the 64th minute, Notis Pallas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Michalis Kalivatsis came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Raftanaνoi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michalis Kalivatsis couldn't finish the play. In the 69th minute, Panos Katsouranis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 73rd match minute, Tsókari was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thanos Kourkoubetis to maneuver through the defense. Tsókari's Theocharis Grigorakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Panos Katsouranis in the 77th minute of play. Theocharis Grigorakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michalis Kalivatsis in the 78th minute of the match. When Michalis Kalivatsis came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Raftanaνoi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michalis Kalivatsis couldn't finish the play.
