Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in Borovαri's zone, Panos Giannas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eugenios Antzas came out of the goal and Panos Giannas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dimitris Koumantarakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nasos Tsichlas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aris Leontas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Spyros Stagos in the 9th minute of play. A hard shot 14 in the game by Panos Giannas from a close distance when the talented Eugenios Antzas managed to make a qualified save. Borovαri's players were relieved. After 19 played minutes Tiganian BC got a freekick which was hit by Achilleas Kassimis. Eugenios Kabitakis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aris Leontas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. If Thodoris Kaliakoudis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Borovαri's goalkeeper Eugenios Antzas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nasos Tsichlas took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aris Leontas. Aris Leontas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 34th minute, Panos Giannas fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Panos Giannas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Eugenios Antzas made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zisis Miaoulis in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aris Leontas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Tiganian BC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Borovαri were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nasos Tsichlas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thodoris Kaliakoudis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenios Antzas having to interfere. Thodoris Kaliakoudis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Eugenios Antzas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Panos Giannas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd minute, Stefanos Leontas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zisis Miaoulis struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Aris Leontas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borovαri. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Nasos Tsichlas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Borovαri's supporters rose to their feet, but Nasos Tsichlas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aris Leontas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aris Leontas made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Zisis Miaoulis sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Tiganian BC booed when Borovαri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fotis Agapakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Borovαri supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Borovαri would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
