Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Dimitris Mitrakos made the kick off which started today's match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sotiris Serifis in the 4th minute of play forced Afαlonas's goalkeeper Alketas Tsolakidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute, Sotiris Serifis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Dimitris Mitrakos took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Panagiotis Vlachogiannis to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Zea FC's Iosif Poulianitis got a free kick in the 18th minute. The audience was convinced that Dimitris Mitrakos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Panagiotis Vlachogiannis was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Zea FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tilemachos Tsouloufas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 44 minutes into the match, Zea FC's Sotiris Serifis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alketas Tsolakidis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Christos Georgoulis kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sotiris Serifis to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Zea FC's Theodosis Klotsobounidas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alketas Tsolakidis. That made the score 1-1 after 52 minutes of play. In the 57th minute, Tilemachos Tsouloufas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zea FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. If Panos Basinas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Giorgos Potamias fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Afαlonas's protests and gave Giorgos Potamias a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Zea FC booed when Afαlonas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giorgos Potamias didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dimitris Mitrakos in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Panagiotis Vlachogiannis saved Zea FC from getting behind. Panos Basinas struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Panagiotis Vlachogiannis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Afαlonas. Panagiotis Vlachogiannis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Panos Basinas, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Sotiris Serifis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Alketas Tsolakidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Zea FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Zea FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
