Giannis Stamatelopoulos started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Sakis Ntaliardos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Iordanis Christodoulatos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christos Karasimos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giannis Stamatelopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 12th match minute, Vafiokhorion BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefanos Labrousis to maneuver through the defense. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Rakνta's Giannis Stamatelopoulos in the 15th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Christos Karasimos was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Vafiokhorion BC through an amazing save. Christos Karasimos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giannis Stamatelopoulos in the 17th minute of the match. The supporters of Rakνta booed when Vafiokhorion BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zacharias Laternas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute, Iordanis Christodoulatos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Christos Karasimos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iordanis Christodoulatos in the 27th minute of the match. Paris Papafotoulis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stathis Kolas, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Christos Karasimos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iordanis Christodoulatos in the 36th minute. Giannis Stamatelopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christos Karasimos having to interfere. Giannis Stamatelopoulos succeeded in the game's 44th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stathis Kolas was the one to do the kick off. After 52 played minutes Vafiokhorion BC got a freekick which was hit by Stefanos Labrousis. After 60 minutes of play Vafiokhorion BC's Stefanos Labrousis was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 61st minute Giannis Stamatelopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christos Karasimos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Periklis Skebis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vafiokhorion BC's supporters rose to their feet, but Periklis Skebis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paris Papafotoulis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giannis Stamatelopoulos in the 65th minute of play forced Vafiokhorion BC's goalkeeper Christos Karasimos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute Giannis Stamatelopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christos Karasimos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iordanis Christodoulatos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christos Karasimos having to interfere. Vafiokhorion BC's Christos Karasimos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giannis Stamatelopoulos in the 74th minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Rakνta's goalkeeper Paris Papafotoulis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Periklis Skebis. In the 88thth minute of the game Iordanis Christodoulatos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vafiokhorion BC's Christos Karasimos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 89th minute, Periklis Skebis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Iordanis Christodoulatos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Christos Karasimos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Giannis Stamatelopoulos came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Rakνta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giannis Stamatelopoulos couldn't finish the play. Periklis Skebis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Paris Papafotoulis made a huge save. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Rakνta fans cheered their team off the field, for while Vafiokhorion BC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
