After a defensive mix-up in Kolσnion's zone, Soulis Triantafyllopoulos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kolσnion's players were relieved. 8 minutes into the match, Anemokhσri's goal looked a bit too open when Errikos Ntougeroglou came free, but Theofilos Metaxas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Minas Nestoriadis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikolas Lekanis having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Argyris Pitsos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Loukas Moraitis fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kolσnion's protests and gave Loukas Moraitis a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th match minute, Kolσnion was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Loukas Moraitis to maneuver through the defense. Soulis Triantafyllopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nikolas Lekanis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Soulis Triantafyllopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Errikos Ntougeroglou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Theofilos Metaxas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alexis Tsakrilis during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Anemokhσri's Theofilos Metaxas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kleon Moustogiannis in the 52nd minute of play. In the 54th minute of the match, Kleon Moustogiannis tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Theofilos Metaxas saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Kolσnion's Nikolas Lekanis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Soulis Triantafyllopoulos in the 56th minute of play. Theofilos Metaxas was a little too slow when Errikos Ntougeroglou got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kleon Moustogiannis in the 98th minute of play forced Anemokhσri's goalkeeper Theofilos Metaxas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
