In the 20th minute, Boúga's Anastasios Katsalis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kleon Valkanis. The audience thought a goal was coming when Giorgos Kosmakos got free with Kleon Valkanis in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Giorgos Kosmakos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the game, Timos Tzanetakos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Boúga's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Keramarió the free kick. After a rather tough play, Boúga's Timos Tzanetakos got a free kick in the 36th minute. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nikos Ververis to strike the kick off in the second half. Kleon Valkanis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giorgos Kosmakos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
