The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4thth minute of the game Konstantinos Sotiras who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Krevatαs's Apostolos Anastasakos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Chionaton's Stamatis Tsilis got control of the ball when Loukianos Kourkouvelas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Takis Kousourakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apostolos Anastasakos having to interfere. Takis Kousourakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Apostolos Anastasakos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Konstantinos Sotiras in the 18th minute of play forced Krevatαs's goalkeeper Apostolos Anastasakos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Konstantinos Sotiras during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 24 played minutes Chionaton got a freekick which was hit by Konstantinos Sotiras. Konstantinos Sotiras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apostolos Anastasakos having to interfere. Loukianos Kourkouvelas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stamatis Tsilis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nikos Tsaliagos in the 30th minute of the match. After 30 played minutes Chionaton got a freekick which was hit by Christodoulos Patinios. Takis Kousourakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apostolos Anastasakos having to interfere. Loukianos Kourkouvelas hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Stamatis Tsilis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nikos Tsaliagos in the 49th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Apostolos Anastasakos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Takis Kousourakis in the 70th minute. If Takis Kousourakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 83 minutes into the match, Krevatαs's goal looked a bit too open when Konstantinos Sotiras came free, but Apostolos Anastasakos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Konstantinos Sotiras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Apostolos Anastasakos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chionaton were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
