Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Makríndos BC's Fragiskos Papalexiou started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Miltiadis Dermitzakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Fragiskos Papalexiou's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fotis Kassapis was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Megadιndron's zone, Vladimiros Voskaridis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fotis Kassapis came out of the goal and Vladimiros Voskaridis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 15th play minute Giorgos Soulidis came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Dimos Kolevas. 1-0. In the 18th minute, Timos Xenopoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 2-0 became the score in the 19th minute when Miltiadis Dermitzakis elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 22nd match minute, Makríndos BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stamatis Sifakis to maneuver through the defense. Fragiskos Papalexiou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Fotis Kassapis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fotis Kassapis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vladimiros Voskaridis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute, Vladimiros Voskaridis made a precise shot to the right of Fotis Kassapis. Megadιndron's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. If Fragiskos Papalexiou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the game, Marios Giannoulakis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Megadιndron's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Makríndos BC the free kick. A collision led to Megadιndron getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Marios Giannoulakis hit a great ball. Christoforos Kasapoglou took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fotis Kassapis. Megadιndron's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Fragiskos Papalexiou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 45 minutes into the match, Makríndos BC's Fragiskos Papalexiou sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fotis Kassapis narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Miltiadis Dermitzakis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Megadιndron's Fotis Kassapis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Megadιndron from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Megadιndron getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Zacharias Tsitouris hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Megadιndron's zone, Vladimiros Voskaridis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fotis Kassapis came out of the goal and Vladimiros Voskaridis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fragiskos Papalexiou could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Fotis Kassapis made a huge save. Dimos Kolevas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miltiadis Dermitzakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Megadιndron's Zacharias Tsitouris suffered a concussion in the 59th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Christoforos Kasapoglou's late challenge caught a Megadιndron's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christoforos Kasapoglou helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Makríndos BC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Christoforos Kasapoglou hit a great ball. Stamatis Sifakis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Fotis Kassapis made a huge save. After 65 minutes of play, Makríndos BC's Chrisostomos Riganidis made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fotis Kassapis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fotis Kassapis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fragiskos Papalexiou in the 72nd minute of the match. Fotis Kassapis was out of position in the 73 minute of play, and Vladimiros Voskaridis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Vladimiros Voskaridis really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. With a little luck, Megadιndron's Fotis Kassapis got control of the ball when Timos Xenopoulos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fotis Kassapis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fragiskos Papalexiou in the 81st minute. In the 83rd minute, Fragiskos Papalexiou left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Makríndos BC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimiros Voskaridis in the 90th minute of play forced Megadιndron's goalkeeper Fotis Kassapis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Timos Xenopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chrisostomos Riganidis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fotis Kassapis having to make a save. Stamatis Sifakis struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Fotis Kassapis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Makríndos BC. Makríndos BC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
