Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Panagiotis Tsakmakidis kicked off to start the match. A collision led to Mιligos getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Giorgos Masourakis hit a great ball. A hard shot 6 in the game by Alkis Malezas from a close distance when the talented Stathis Kavafis managed to make a qualified save. Afión FC's players were relieved. When Christoforos Ligouris fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Afión FC's protests and gave Christoforos Ligouris a yellow card for diving instead. Christoforos Ligouris hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Afión FC's Stathis Kavafis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Afión FC from getting a goal against them. 14 minutes into the game, Mιligos's Loukas Labrou nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stathis Kavafis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. With a little luck, Afión FC's Stathis Kavafis got control of the ball when Alkis Malezas tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Loukas Labrou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Loukas Labrou's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stathis Kavafis was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Pantelis Chionidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stathis Kavafis having to interfere. When Christoforos Ligouris was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 32 minutes had been played. In the 32nd minute, Christoforos Ligouris hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Loukas Labrou came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Mιligos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Loukas Labrou couldn't finish the play. Alkis Malezas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Stathis Kavafis made a huge save. With a little luck, Afión FC's Stathis Kavafis got control of the ball when Alkis Malezas tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Loukas Labrou fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Alkis Malezas had several of the Afión FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 45 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Stathis Kavafis as he didn't even see the shot coming.

Alkis Malezas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stathis Kavafis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alkis Malezas in the 60th minute of play. Stathis Kavafis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loukas Labrou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 64 minutes into the match, Alkis Malezas notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Afión FC's Stathis Kavafis. Stathis Kavafis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Mιligos getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Stathis Kavafis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stathis Kavafis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Loukas Labrou, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Alkis Malezas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mιligos's supporters rose to their feet, but Alkis Malezas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stathis Kavafis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stathis Kavafis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loukas Labrou in the 80th minute of play. In the 83rdth minute of the game Alkis Malezas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Afión FC's Stathis Kavafis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Loukas Labrou came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Mιligos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Loukas Labrou couldn't finish the play. Loukas Labrou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Stathis Kavafis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Afión FC's Stathis Kavafis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pantelis Chionidis in the 93rd minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Mιligos had played much better football throughout.
