Stathis Kavafis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stamatis Tzanetoulakos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miltos Petridis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stamatis Tzanetoulakos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Miltos Petridis during the 50th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Panos Bougatsas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stathis Kavafis having to make a save. An unexpected shot in the 56th minute by Miltos Petridis got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Ermis Giannou's late challenge caught a Oasdigνtria FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. With a little luck, Afión FC's Stathis Kavafis got control of the ball when Panos Bougatsas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Stamatis Tzanetoulakos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stathis Kavafis having to interfere. After having played for 64 minutes, Stamatis Tzanetoulakos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oasdigνtria FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stamatis Tzanetoulakos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Stefanos Giannaridis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Stathis Kavafis. That made the score 0-4 in the 68 minute of play. Stamatis Tzanetoulakos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stathis Kavafis having to interfere. After 76 minutes, Stamatis Tzanetoulakos made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Afión FC's Stathis Kavafis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A hard shot 80 in the game by Stamatis Tzanetoulakos from a close distance when the talented Stathis Kavafis managed to make a qualified save. Afión FC's players were relieved. When Stefanos Giannaridis came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Oasdigνtria FC fans jumped to their feet. When the match was over Oasdigνtria FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Afión FC throughout the match.
