Urbano Camerino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stamatis Lagonidis having to interfere. When Dimitris Iaveris came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Dragonflies fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dimitris Iaveris couldn't finish the play. Urbano Camerino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Kassitarα's Christos Markos got a free kick in the 14th minute. 17 minutes in the game, Urbano Camerino fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Stamatis Lagonidis having to interfere. After 19 minutes, Vassilis Dilberis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kassitarα and the Dragonflies players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 19 played minutes Kassitarα got a freekick which was hit by Vassilis Dilberis. If Sandro de Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 24th minute Stelios Papastergiou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elano Meirelles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stelios Papastergiou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elano Meirelles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stelios Varvouzanis in the 32nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Dimitris Iaveris managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dragonflies's supporters rose to their feet, but Dimitris Iaveris was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stamatis Lagonidis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Dimitris Iaveris managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stamatis Lagonidis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stelios Papastergiou to make the kick off. Stamatis Lagonidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dimos Louvaris in the 52nd minute of play. In the 52nd match minute, Dragonflies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dimitris Iaveris to maneuver through the defense. When Dragonflies's Urbano Camerino in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 78 minutes, Dimitris Iaveris made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Kassitarα's Stamatis Lagonidis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Kassitarα's Stamatis Lagonidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimitris Iaveris in the 83rd minute of play. The supporters of Dragonflies booed when Kassitarα was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kosmas Patsas didn't get a good kick on the ball.
