Ilias Papafotakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stratos Kapsokefalos in the 13th minute of play. A hard shot 14 in the game by Giorgos Kostiadis from a close distance when the talented Thanasis Karvouniaris managed to make a qualified save. Adhrαktia's players were relieved. Thanasis Karvouniaris had in the 27thth minute some difficulties stopping Eugenios Karaiskos's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Eugenios Karaiskos did an outstanding performance 27 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 2-0 to the right of an irritated Thanasis Karvouniaris in the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Adhrαktia's goalkeeper Thanasis Karvouniaris had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Giorgos Kostiadis. With his leg Thanasis Karvouniaris managed to avoid a goal in the 37thth minute, when Dhimonia BC's Giorgos Kostiadis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anastasios Kakotaridis in the 42nd minute of play forced Adhrαktia's goalkeeper Thanasis Karvouniaris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anastasios Kakotaridis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Thanasis Karvouniaris dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. If Dimosthenis Drambas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stratos Kapsokefalos during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 93rd minute, Stratos Kapsokefalos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dhimonia BC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
