Miltos Kaliakoudis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theocharis Koutromichalis having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andreas Pnevmatikatos during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Gorgómilos getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Andreas Pnevmatikatos hit a great ball. Mateusz Ogrodowicz was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 7th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Gorgómilos's Theocharis Koutromichalis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miltos Kaliakoudis in the 8th minute of play. Akis Seftelis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Theocharis Koutromichalis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pigasos fc's Apostolos Tsirkos got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Miltos Kaliakoudis struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Theocharis Koutromichalis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pigasos fc. After 18 played minutes Gorgómilos got a freekick which was hit by Stergios Kalamatas. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miltos Kaliakoudis in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Theocharis Koutromichalis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gorgómilos's Theocharis Koutromichalis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Apostolos Tsirkos in the 20th minute of play. Pigasos fc's Panos Chelis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimitris Kanavopoulos in the 21st minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Gorgómilos's Dimitris Kanavopoulos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Panos Chelis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 36 minutes into the match, Gorgómilos's goal looked a bit too open when Miltos Kaliakoudis came free, but Theocharis Koutromichalis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miltos Kaliakoudis in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Theocharis Koutromichalis saved Gorgómilos from getting behind. After some careless play in the Pigasos fc defense, Panagiotis Tsiaris kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Panos Chelis. The Pigasos fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Panos Chelis should have stopped the shot.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Miltos Kaliakoudis to strike the kick off in the second half. Theocharis Koutromichalis made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Candido Lawrence sent off a good shot on target. When Pigasos fc's Miltos Kaliakoudis in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gorgómilos's goalie prevented a goal. Miltos Kaliakoudis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Panos Chelis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dimitris Kanavopoulos's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Miltos Kaliakoudis struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Theocharis Koutromichalis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pigasos fc. Theocharis Koutromichalis was a little too slow when Akis Seftelis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 65th minute. The score was now 1-1. Andreas Pnevmatikatos hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Pigasos fc's Panos Chelis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Panagiotis Tsiaris in the 72nd minute of play. Theocharis Koutromichalis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miltos Kaliakoudis in the 76th minute of play. Miltos Kaliakoudis let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 78th minute shot 1-2 at rihgt post. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 83rd minute of the game. One of Gorgómilos:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pigasos fc:s goal. Miltos Kaliakoudis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Theocharis Koutromichalis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Miltos Kaliakoudis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pigasos fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Miltos Kaliakoudis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Theocharis Koutromichalis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Gorgómilos getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Dimitris Kanavopoulos hit a great ball. Theocharis Koutromichalis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Apostolos Tsirkos in the 93rd minute of play. In the 94th minute, Miltos Kaliakoudis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 96 minutes, Akis Seftelis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pigasos fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Akis Seftelis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Gorgómilos getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Panagiotis Tsiaris hit a great ball. When the match was over Pigasos fc could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Gorgómilos throughout the match.
