Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gerasimos Valavanidis kicked off to start the match. A collision led to Riverpool getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Simos Someritis hit a great ball. In the 6th match minute, Platanies FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nikos Aggelatos to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Platanies FC's zone, Themistoklis Pourtoulidis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Babbis Giannoulis came out of the goal and Themistoklis Pourtoulidis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 8th minute, Riverpool's Aggelos Periadis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Babbis Giannoulis. Babbis Giannoulis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Thodoris Agathakos during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Thodoris Agathakos kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Michalis Karamaounas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thodoris Agathakos in the 13th minute of the match. A throw-in in the 21st minute of the game was made by Christos Tokalidis with Antonis Nikolaidis as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 23 minutes into the match, Riverpool's goal looked a bit too open when Thodoris Agathakos came free, but Michalis Karamaounas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Babbis Giannoulis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Themistoklis Pourtoulidis in the 25th minute of play. After having played for 27 minutes, Themistoklis Pourtoulidis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Riverpool's supporters crossed their fingers, but Themistoklis Pourtoulidis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 31st minute, Simos Someritis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Babbis Giannoulis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonis Mitsibonas, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After 34 played minutes Riverpool got a freekick which was hit by Telis Theodoridis. Riverpool's Michalis Karamaounas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerasimos Valavanidis in the 37th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Aggelos Periadis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Babbis Giannoulis was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Michalis Karamaounas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thodoris Agathakos in the 46th minute of play. Antonis Mitsibonas in the 48thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Babbis Giannoulis, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antonis Mitsibonas to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antonis Mitsibonas in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Babbis Giannoulis saved Platanies FC from getting behind. 57 minutes into the match, Platanies FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aggelos Periadis came free, but Babbis Giannoulis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michalis Karamaounas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerasimos Valavanidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Riverpool's Michalis Karamaounas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonis Nikolaidis in the 60th minute of play. After 61 played minutes Platanies FC got a freekick which was hit by Alexis Tzanetis. When Riverpool's Antonis Mitsibonas in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Platanies FC's goalie prevented a goal. Aggelos Periadis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Babbis Giannoulis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Platanies FC's Babbis Giannoulis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonis Mitsibonas in the 66th minute of play. After 70 minutes, Simos Someritis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Riverpool and the Platanies FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Riverpool getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Simos Someritis hit a great ball. Michalis Karamaounas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thodoris Agathakos in the 72nd minute. In the 77th minute Antonis Mitsibonas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Babbis Giannoulis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antonis Mitsibonas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Telis Theodoridis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Babbis Giannoulis having to interfere. Telis Theodoridis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 82nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Babbis Giannoulis. Platanies FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Gerasimos Valavanidis took a quick shot and it went in 4-1 without a chance for Michalis Karamaounas to make any attempt to save it. In the 96th minute of the match, Gerasimos Valavanidis tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Michalis Karamaounas saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Riverpool had played much better football throughout.
