Aggelos Lyberopoulos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giorgos Stefanou in the 9th minute of play forced Tharroϊnia FC's goalkeeper Aggelos Lyberopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Giorgos Stefanou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aggelos Lyberopoulos having to interfere. If Daniil Theofilou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manolis Mavrokordatos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 34th minute by Adamantios Panagoulias got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniil Theofilou got free with Manolis Mavrokordatos in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Manolis Mavrokordatos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eutichios Vertsotis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute Aggelos Krigos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aggelos Lyberopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Marios Peppes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Giorgos Stefanou to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marios Peppes in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manolis Mavrokordatos saved Karαspaο FC from getting behind. Manolis Mavrokordatos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eutichios Vertsotis in the 60th minute of play. When Daniil Theofilou came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Tharroϊnia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniil Theofilou couldn't finish the play. The Tharroϊnia FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Marios Peppes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Manolis Mavrokordatos having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Daniil Theofilou's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manolis Mavrokordatos was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Marios Peppes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Manolis Mavrokordatos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tharroϊnia FC. 90 minutes into the match, Tharroϊnia FC's Marios Peppes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Manolis Mavrokordatos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Giorgos Stefanou kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Karαspaο FC's Manolis Mavrokordatos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniil Theofilou in the 94th minute of play. When Tharroϊnia FC's Marios Peppes in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Karαspaο FC's goalie prevented a goal. Tharroϊnia FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
