But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonidas Vogiatzis couldn't finish the play. Telis Nousias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lakis Koukodimos having to interfere. Giannis Kopanaras didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anthimos Pomonis went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Giannis Kopanaras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anthimos Pomonis, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Dorotheos Stamatelatos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lakis Koukodimos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Panos Kopitsis charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Panos Kopitsis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Ladhα's Panos Kopitsis got a free kick in the 36th minute. With a little luck, Ladhα's Lakis Koukodimos got control of the ball when Gil de Lima tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 46th minute, Dorotheos Stamatelatos fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leonidas Vogiatzis was the one to do the kick off. Giorgos Koumanidis's late challenge caught a Ladhα's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Giorgos Koumanidis helped the player get up and apologised. Giorgos Koumanidis hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, stoon city Fc's Octavian Oțeteleșanu got a free kick in the 55th minute. Dorotheos Stamatelatos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 58 played minutes Ladhα got a freekick which was hit by Simos Leontaras. 60 minutes into the game, stoon city Fc's Dorotheos Stamatelatos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lakis Koukodimos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 65 minutes into the game, one of stoon city Fc:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Ladhα a penalty, 69 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Thanasis Koumantarakis, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of stoon city Fc's Giannis Kopanaras. 1-2. After 72 played minutes stoon city Fc got a freekick which was hit by Octavian Oțeteleșanu. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind stoon city Fc's goalkeeper Giannis Kopanaras, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Fondas Kemanetzis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A nice corner shot did that Octavian Oțeteleșanu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lakis Koukodimos quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Giorgos Koumanidis struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Lakis Koukodimos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for stoon city Fc. Giorgos Koumanidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Fondas Kemanetzis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fondas Kemanetzis in the 95th minute of play forced Ladhα's goalkeeper Lakis Koukodimos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ladhα had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
