But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fragiskos Tsionas couldn't finish the play. Leonidas Kopitsis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fragiskos Tsionas, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. 8 minutes into the match, Kaproi F.C.'s Nontas Nikoloudis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leonidas Kopitsis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Fragiskos Tsionas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonidas Kopitsis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nontas Nikoloudis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes into the match, Nevroϊnitsa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nontas Nikoloudis came free, but Leonidas Kopitsis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Kaproi F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Avraam Koutsovassilis came free, but Giannis Peris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonidas Kopitsis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fragiskos Tsionas, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Kaproi F.C.'s zone, Avraam Koutsovassilis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giannis Peris came out of the goal and Avraam Koutsovassilis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Kaproi F.C.'s Giannis Peris got control of the ball when Vladimiros Lorantos tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 26 minutes, Avraam Koutsovassilis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nevroϊnitsa FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Avraam Koutsovassilis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 30th minute, Thanos Agapiou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience cheered when Babbis Pakaltsis's long shot passed Leonidas Kopitsis's right side. It was 0-1, 31 minutes into the match. 35 minutes into the game, Thanos Agapiou was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nevroϊnitsa FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kaproi F.C. the free kick. A collision led to Nevroϊnitsa FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Thanos Agapiou hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nontas Nikoloudis in the 40th minute of play forced Nevroϊnitsa FC's goalkeeper Leonidas Kopitsis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Apostolikas Stratis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 45th match minute, Nevroϊnitsa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aris Pavlos to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Fragiskos Tsionas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kaproi F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Fragiskos Tsionas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonidas Kopitsis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fragiskos Tsionas was the one to do the kick off. A hard shot 51 in the game by Nontas Nikoloudis from a close distance when the talented Leonidas Kopitsis managed to make a qualified save. Nevroϊnitsa FC's players were relieved. Nevroϊnitsa FC's Leonidas Kopitsis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Nevroϊnitsa FC from getting a goal against them. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Nevroϊnitsa FC's goalkeeper Leonidas Kopitsis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kaproi F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Babbis Pakaltsis in the 64th minute. Kaproi F.C.'s Babbis Pakaltsis was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Leonidas Kopitsis in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 70thth minute of the game Fragiskos Tsionas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nevroϊnitsa FC's Leonidas Kopitsis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Kaproi F.C. getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Thrasivoulos Papagiannopoulos hit a great ball. Vladimiros Lorantos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Giannis Peris having to make a save. Babbis Pakaltsis was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 79th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Leonidas Kopitsis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fragiskos Tsionas in the 80th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Kaproi F.C.'s Markos Matsas got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 85th minute Fragiskos Tsionas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonidas Kopitsis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nontas Nikoloudis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonidas Kopitsis having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fragiskos Tsionas in the 88th minute of play forced Nevroϊnitsa FC's goalkeeper Leonidas Kopitsis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nontas Nikoloudis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nevroϊnitsa FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Nontas Nikoloudis scored to the left of an out of position Leonidas Kopitsis, making the score, 0-2. Kaproi F.C.'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
