In the 13th match minute, ΦΟΙΝΙΚΑΣ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Minas Theodorakakos to maneuver through the defense. Alekos Kourkouvelas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Ermegildo Mendez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 24 played minutes ΦΟΙΝΙΚΑΣ got a freekick which was hit by Minas Theodorakakos. Catalino Gol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nektarios Bourlokas in the 26th minute of the match. Christos Samanoglous short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Ermegildo Mendez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Argyris Skarpathiotis hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Alekos Kourkouvelas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The referee ignored ΦΟΙΝΙΚΑΣ's protests and gave Alekos Kasnakidis a yellow card for diving instead. When Paris Ochtaras fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot.
