When Vaggelis Roubanis came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the EVOSMOS FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vaggelis Roubanis couldn't finish the play. 39 minutes into the match, Fanis Kanelidis notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Agia Sofia's Lambros Barlas. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fanis Kanelidis in the 67th minute of play forced Agia Sofia's goalkeeper Lambros Barlas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Vaggelis Roubanis managed to get in a good position for a shot.
