In the 10th minute, Miltos Sgouros made a precise shot to the right of Chatziioannou Panousopoulos. Loco Lions's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Isidoros Zotaliss short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Chatziioannou Panousopoulos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Loco Lions's Iraklis Polimenakos got a free kick in the 16th minute. Achilleas Gonias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Lambros Barlas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Loco Lions's Chatziioannou Panousopoulos got control of the ball when Isidoros Zotalis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Miltos Sgouros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26thth minute of the game Miltos Sgouros who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Loco Lions's Chatziioannou Panousopoulos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Isidoros Zotalis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Chatziioannou Panousopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chatziioannou Panousopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miltos Sgouros in the 38th minute of play. In the 45th match minute, Agia Sofia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miltos Tsoflidis to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Miltos Sgouros was the one to do the kick off. Isidoros Zotalis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Chatziioannou Panousopoulos having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Agia Sofia's Sakis Tsigas got a free kick in the 61st minute. Miltos Sgouros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chatziioannou Panousopoulos having to interfere. Miltos Sgouros's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Chatziioannou Panousopoulos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. If Miltos Sgouros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Notis Tassis hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Miltos Sgouros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Chatziioannou Panousopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Miltos Sgouros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Miltos Sgouros, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 95 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Chatziioannou Panousopoulos was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Petros Zacharatos during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 97 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Agia Sofia's Miltos Sgouros fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Agia Sofia fans cheered their team off the field, for while Loco Lions had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
