If Zisis Tourkogiorgis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dimitris Nekos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zisis Tourkogiorgis, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. A collision led to Ardosis getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Telis Leonidis hit a great ball. Apostolis Mouras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kostas Giotoulis having to interfere. The supporters of Ardosis booed when Red Elikon Dragons was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Minas Theodorakelis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ardosis's Dimitris Nekos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zisis Tourkogiorgis in the 29th minute of play. In the 31st minute Zisis Tourkogiorgis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dimitris Nekos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ntinos Vernikos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ardosis's Dimitris Nekos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zisis Tourkogiorgis in the 42nd minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Apostolis Mouras made a kick off. Kostas Giotoulis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Notis Baltas in the 52nd minute. In the 53rd minute, Takis Georgakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Apostolis Mouras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Red Elikon Dragons's Kostas Giotoulis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Red Elikon Dragons from getting a goal against them. Vaggelis Stamatellis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zisis Tourkogiorgis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anastasios Babasakos's late challenge caught a Ardosis's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anastasios Babasakos helped the player get up and apologised. Kostas Giotoulis made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Ntinos Vernikos sent off a good shot on target. 76 minutes into the game, Red Elikon Dragons's Vaggelis Stamatellis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dimitris Nekos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Vaggelis Stamatellis hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. If Ntinos Vernikos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 90 minutes, Ntinos Vernikos made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Red Elikon Dragons's Kostas Giotoulis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Apostolis Mouras came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Ardosis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Apostolis Mouras couldn't finish the play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
