Nasos Stelas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 10 minutes, Péter Orbán mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ASKLIPIOS KOS and the Agymnastoi players grew even worse after the yellow card. Evripidis Moisidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoros Psaridis in the 13th minute of play forced ASKLIPIOS KOS's goalkeeper Stathis Tsakouridis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Eugenios Karagiozoglou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee ignored Agymnastoi's protests and gave Eugenios Karagiozoglou a yellow card for diving instead. Stathis Tsakouridis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evripidis Moisidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tasos Sitaropoulos got free with Nasos Stelas in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nasos Stelas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thalis Kalikis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of ASKLIPIOS KOS booed when Agymnastoi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michalis Louvaris didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thalis Kalikis did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Nasos Stelas 47 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Isidoros Psaridis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Tasos Sitaropoulos came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the ASKLIPIOS KOS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tasos Sitaropoulos couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thalis Kalikis in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nasos Stelas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nasos Stelas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tasos Sitaropoulos in the 94th minute of play. If Péter Orbán had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. ASKLIPIOS KOS had won after a very even match.
